Greta Valleskey

Greta is best known for raising her four children and her husband Bruce. Because of this she has grown eyes in the back of her head. Though they may seem odd at first they are actually quite practical. This allows her to walk backwards or forwards without running into anything. While driving, she can get something out of the back seat of her car while still keeping both eyes on the road! This ability also proved advantageous in our latest main event; Greta dominated the Speed Rocket tournament. Greta has a soft spot for all four legged furry creatures, especially dogs!

Super Hero Ability: 360 Degree Vision

Bruce Valleskey

Bruce was seven months old when he picked up his first guitar and began playing his first guitar tabs. His parents never knew how bright Bruce’s future would be. Bruce downplays his mad guitar skills. But, recently he’s been seen at an International Guitar Hero Tournament incognito. Bruce placed first overall in several categories. Bruce now leads worship for the students, and participates with the worship team in several key ministries of the church. Surprisingly, Bruce doesn’t charge a thing for the contribution of his insane guitar skills. He does it all to serve the Lord.

Super Hero Ability: Mad Guitar Hero Skills

Dallas Cooper

If you spend ten minutes with Dallas you’ll find yourself inspired.  You’ll want to serve the Lord in new ways and live a radical life of faith.  This is because of his heart to serve the Lord and a bent he has toward mind control.  At Oasis we sell tinfoil helmets for a small fee so that we can protect ourselves from Dallas’ mind control.  While not at Oasis Dallas is working on a degree in Youth Ministry at Cornerstone University

Super Hero Ability: Control Minds

Cathy Schlaufman

When Cathy is not shooting finger rockets at unsuspecting middle school students, she can be seen at dusk sailing through the skies in her super woman like red cape. Her super hero ability allows her to fly to pick up her daughter from school, speed through the grocery store and grab dinner, and whip up a filet mignon with laser beams that shoot from her eyes.

Worst Prank Ever Pulled: “A food fight in the 7th grade cafeteria lunch room. I got sent to the principal’s office.”

Super Hero Ability: Flying

Craig Schlaufman

Craig is currently holds the league leading record for most triples and in the park homeruns in Woodside’s Softball League. But, what everyone does not know is that Craig is able to break the sound the barrier on foot! This has lead to Craig consistently dominating in Softball, local marathon races, and the annual Oasis dodgeball tournament. Often, while teaching he has been known to forget to start taping his favorite TV Show, Extreme Home Makeover. This is no problem, though. Craig simply diverts the attention of his students toward the outside window and then races home and back to start his Tivo before anyone looks back.

Super Hero Ability: Unparalleled ground speed

Holly Fawcett

Due to a brief exposure to high volumes of energy, Holly now is able to be in more than one place at a given time. This is useful since Holly holds multiple jobs, is a student at the local university, is at the center of social scene of Waterford, and volunteers hundreds hours a week at Woodside Bible Church. Her love for middle school students overflows into special gifts, treats, cupcakes, and prizes she brings every week. Holly is also known to be able to run through an entire high ropes course, a zipline, and a rock wall on her own, and all at the same time!

Biggest Quirk: Organizing things unnecessarily

Worst Prank Ever Pulled: Putting Kool Aid inside the shower heads in the guys bathroom at camp. (Not recommended, I’m no longer allowed back to the camp)

Super Hero Ability: Being in multiple places at once

Stephanie Lamphere

Stephanie has been known for having some incredible all night parties with her middle school girls. Little did her students know, that Stephanie actually has no need for sleep. She is able to easily balance her extremely busy schedule of school, multiple nanny jobs, tons of volunteering at Woodside, and a busy social life because her body does not need the normal rest humans need. This helped her to complete her favorite prank. See below.

Favorite thing about God: His love toward me.

Favorite prank: I put Vaseline on the rails of my bunk bed so when my brother went to get on the top bunk, he would slip off!

Super Hero Ability: Does not need sleep

Whitney Bedor

While Whitney is not parading as a super hero, her cover is above-average high school student at Clarkston High School. At the young age of 4, Whitney was lost in a shopping mall by her parents. It turned out she was exercising her super shopping radar ability. No matter how significant the mark down, or what store, or how far the mall may be; Whitney has the uncanny ability to find every sale at every mall, even malls she has not visited! This super hero ability has saved millions of people from paying full price for their favorite shopping items. Whitney and her family are huge Michigan fans.
