One of our goals in Woodside Student Ministry (WSM) is to create a ministry that doesn’t JUST serve students, but instead, serves families. This page is designed to keep you up to date on any upcoming events, conferences and meetings that are specifically for parents. We’ll also use this page to share with you helpful resources for parenting!

10 Day Challenge
Reminder: We still have 10 Day Challenge booklets available for $2 in the WSM office. Hurry while supplies last to pick up a copy for your family to work through together!
Description: Each year the staff of WSM puts together a 10 day devotional for families. The purpose is to encourage families to dive into God’s Word, into discussion and into prayer together for 10 days (Monday-Friday of 2 consecutive weeks). This is an incredible chance to grow in the community of your family and live out the Shema, the words of Scripture found in Deut. 6:4-9 which says, “Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one. 5 You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. 6 And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. 7 You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise. 8 You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. 9 You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.”
The topic this year is the Decalogue, the Ten Commandments of Yahweh! Don’t miss out!!
