We will be meeting at the church on three different Wednesday nights throughout the summer (June 13th, 20th, and July 11th) from 4:30-6:15pm.  During our time together we will be reading and discussing a book, brainstorming and planning ministry opportunities for the summer and school year, and serving by helping set-up for 180 and to be there to help new students connect.

On June 27th any student that is able to is encouraged to join us at Borden Park with their family to hand out bottled water and cold treats to the members of the community in attendance.

We are very excited about this experience for students and our looking forward to seeing many of them join up to grow in their relationship with Christ.

The cost is $25 which pays for their book (Do Hard Things) and three meals.  If you’re student/family already own the book then the cost is $15.

It is a spin back to some “old school” ministry where all we do is come out go hang out, have fun, get messy, and build friendships.  It is a great opportunity for new students to come out and connect with other students and leaders, as well as, for some of our seasoned students to re-connect with those same folks.

We get things kicked off every week at 6:30pm and we end at 8:00pm.

June 13th: Cafeteria Chaos - come ready to get messy as we will be throwing all sorts of food around!

June 20th: Paint Party - this night is all about games involving paint (water-based, washable paint of course).  So come ready to be creative and messy.

June 27th: We will NOT be doing any Oasis sponsored event that evening.  This is the night of the annual Rochester Hills Fireworks that are held at Borden Park.  Ravae, Joe, and a few other Oasis leaders will be hanging out that night and would love to visit with your families. We will be wearing some sweet WSM t-shirts and be handing out free bottled water and cold treats to the community in attendance.  Again this is NOT an Oasis sponsored event so we are not responsible for any transportation or supervision of students.  Any student who comes to the fireworks that night is doing so because a parent or guardian has brought them and is responsible for them.

July 4th: No 180! Go enjoy some fireworks and barbeque with the family!

July 11th: Water Wars - we’ll be cooling off as we wrap up the last 180 with Water Wars.  Bring a towel and come ready to get soaked!

Join us after the 11:30 service at 1pm in the Garage Cafe for a special luncheon to honor our 8th grade students. Families are welcome to attend. The cost for non-8th grade students or family members is $3 per person or $10 per family. 8th grade students cost is FREE.
