New Building Celebration

Join us Sunday, March 25th as we celebrate the grand opening of our brand new student ministry building! We will be having two different celebrations for you and your family.  The first is during and between the 10 & 11:30 services we will be having an open house for you to come tour the new building. Please feel free to stop by and visit!

The second part of our celebration will take place on Sunday night, as middle school and high school will combine for a night of worship, prayer, dedication and celebration. We will also roll out our summer programs  for both MS & HS students. Parents are 100% invited to this event as well as our current 5th graders and their families! This will take place from 5:30-7pm with a dessert and punch reception afterwords. Please join us for this evening.

Project 313

This trip will be focused on serving with 3 or 4 ministry partners in the city of Detroit. It will take place July 15-20th, 2012. We will be involved in daily vacation bible schools, home repair, ministry to the homeless, and other local church ministries.

What will an average day look like?

We will wake up early, make breakfast and have devotions. Then we will break into our ministry teams and be on location at various sites throughout the city. After a long and tiring day’s work, we will have the opportunity to shower and get cleaned up for dinner. Each evening we will be doing something together as a team to build community or to blow off steam.

Where will we be staying?

We will all be staying at the Warren Campus. It is a blessing to have a campus that we can virtually take over for the week- using the kitchen, gym, and building to host our group and plenty of room for lodging.

What about leadership?

Our team leaders will be Joe Crabb, Ravae Wilson, Matt Uitti, Josh Miller, Ben Hixson, Beau Tomlinson, Barrett Wimer and a whole host of other capable Oasis leaders form all our campuses. This promises to be an amazing trip with year round impact.
