What’s The Deep End:

The Deep End is a community of Middle School students that gather together each week for a truly unique experience.  The Deep End of Oasis is all about diving into the depths of the Christian faith.  So what should you expect when you come?  First, you should expect variety.  For 6 weeks we run what we like to call “electives.”  We set up 3 series and you get to choose what you want to dive into.  Electives are relevant and enjoyable.  They are deep but understandable to any middle school student.  They are discussions instead of sermons!  That means you get to interact and discuss the issue you’re talking about!  Electives are a place where you can be honest about your questions and where you can explore the Christian faith!  Electives are a place to “come get refreshed!”

How Not To Get Caught

An All New Oasis Collective Series

During the month of March we’ll be taking a breather from electives and spend four weeks looking at the issue of temptation.  The truth is we ALL deal with temptation… daily!  There’s not a day that passes by in our lives where someone or something is tugging our minds and hearts away from God and toward sin.  It’s just part of living in a world that’s been broken and infected by our own failures.  BUT, it’s not all BAD NEWS!  There’s GOOD NEWS too!  If you’re a believer and follower of Jesus, you’ve been given a special gift called the Holy Spirit that can help us deal with temptation.  Come ready to discover how to live a whole lot happier life.  A life that refuses to give into temptation at evey opportunity and constantly fights to live for Christ.  COME GET REFRESHED only at the Deep End at 11:30am on Sunday mornings.

3/28- The Great Awakening (MS & HS Combine in room 231)

“PG” (Parent’s Guild) New for ALL PARENTS of Middle & High School students in room 232 at 11:30a while the students attend the Great Awakening!  We will spend 20 minutes discussing upcoming events and other important information about the student ministries and then you will have the option of attending one of three elective classes for 40 minutes.  Each elective is meant to provide education, exposure and resources to parents trying to raise godly children.  We know parenting is tough so that’s why we’re together trying to tackle some of the sticky issues through PG!  Don’t miss this opportunity!!

4/4- The Deep End at Oasis is canceled for Easter!  Woodside services will be at 7am (sunrise service), 8:30a, 10a and 11:30a.
