What will happen when we meet together?

We will have time to just hang out (connecting with friends, video games, pool, food, games, just having a good time…) A time of worship, Games, Oasis Annoucements and the Intro… that’s a short talk to intro the discussion for small groups. Small groups are separated by gender and led by 2 adult leaders.  Small groups are usually 5 to 10 students who talk about relevant issues of life based on God’s Word, enjoy life together, serve the community together, pray for each other and encourage one another to fall more deeply in love with Jesus Christ.

Main Events?

There are main events, about every other month, where we will be just doing something fun in our area or at someones home. There will also be times where we serve in our community doing different service projects to make a difference in the Lake Orion area.

Middle School meets every Wednesday night from 6:15-8:00pm in the home of Andy and Janice Zale. The address and directions are below…

Why Small Groups?

Relationships are the most important aspect of WSM and Oasis!  They are our foundation, our beginning and what we spend most of our time pouring into.  Why?  Because Jesus spent 3 full years, right up until the time of his death, to build relationships based on love!  This is why small groups are so important to Oasis.  But, there’s more… they’re exciting, refreshing and full of opportunities to build friendships that will last a life time!

Every month or two small groups take a night off to put on a Main Event.  This is a giant event set up for middle school students in our community.  It comes in all shapes and sizes.
